A Look at the Details｜ Other Products ｜Martin Road Series 000E Retro Plus Granadillo Acoustic-Electric Guitar

Meet your brand-new old friend. The Martin Road Series 000E Retro Plus Granadillo Acoustic-Electric Guitar draws inspiration from classic 28-style models, blending timeless Martin design with modern performance features built for today’s players. Compact, balanced, and richly voiced, this 000-size acoustic-electric is equally at home on stage, in the studio, or on the couch.
At its core is a torrefied solid spruce top, thermally aged to deliver an open, broken-in tone straight out of the case—enhanced resonance, quicker response, and vintage warmth from the very first strum. Solid granadillo back and sides add piano-like lows, sparkling highs, and excellent note separation, offering a tonal profile often compared to rosewood but with a slightly tighter, more focused low end.
Scalloped X-bracing increases punch and dynamic range, while the comfortable 000 body size provides balanced string-to-string response ideal for fingerstyle, light strumming, and articulate flatpicking. A Performing Artist neck with High-Performance Taper and an ebony fingerboard ensure smooth, modern playability. Finished with classic Style 28 appointments and equipped with LR Baggs Element electronics, the 000E Retro Plus Granadillo is a stage-ready instrument designed to inspire for decades—available now from Sky Music Australia.
