Thomson Company, Inc. in 1981 with a mission to manufacture precision machined parts using CNC equipment. In the mid-‘90s, Ronnie used his aerospace engineering expertise to create a bicycle seatpost for his daughter, a team cyclist at Carnegie Mellon University. Rather than making a post similar to other posts on the market, Ronnie created something entirely new: a one-piece seatpost light enough for an unmatched ride, but strong enough to withstand the pressures of biking. Ronnie patented his creation and Thomson bike components were born.DetailsOur new 35mm x 800mm wide bar comes in 3 rise options: a centre rise 10mm, 20mm, or 35mm rise options. Unlike most companies, Thomson produced our bars by using advanced hydraulic press forming to ensure close tolerances, precise wall thicknesses and a smooth appearance in the bends and tapered sections.Together with a 35mm Thomson X4 stem, it’s the best Aluminium cockpit in the industry. FeaturesCentre Rise: 10mm, 20mm  and 25mmBacksweep: 9 degrees.Upsweep: 5 degrees.7050 Aluminium.Advanced Hydraulic Press forming.Butted & tapered for optimal fatigue life. MTB Bar Instructions 35MM Centre Rise35MM 20MM Rise35MM  35MM Rise
